If you want to reach more people you have to engage with their posts, then they'll follow you, then they'll see your content.
Nostr doesn't show posts to everyone, there's no algorithm deciding what people see on their feed as it's all individually curated.
Hashtags are a way to reach people who subscribe to them though, such as art or asknostr
Tuesday, 7th April 2025 - Inky Exploration
Due to changing computers and the sun tempting me to do gardening I haven't painted for a while.
I am mulling over what to paint for the upcoming WOKAS exhibition. I have got as far as the ideas pinging around in my head.
Here are the ink pictures I did a few days ago. We used Indian ink, Quink ink and dilute bleach. Even after many showers and hand washes I still have ink under my finger nails.

He's doing some amazing DIY things with analogue tech, and I haven't really heard anything like it. It has really interesting history on cryptography and decentralization, showcases creative writing and music from fans, and has inspired me to make physical media part of my everyday. It's a passion project him him, and the quality shows it.

My kitchen was full of art easels and the smell of oil paint. Three out of five of The Viridians were present. Clive set up a still life for us from a plethora of vases, pots, flowers. After an hour or so we took a break. It was lovely to sit outside and have bowls of soup. We went back to our easels to finish our work.

Thursday, 20th February 2025 - WIP
It has been a washing, ironing and cleaning day.
I ordered a palette attachment for my easel for my paints and brushes. It came today. It's very flexible,so useless, which is not the best for oil paints. I can imagine an unintentional Pollock creation. Shame as it was under a tenner and the others I have been looking at are over £300 which is ridiculous. Tim and I are going to invent one.
I started on a linocut. It may end up in a frame or the bin.
