I come from podcasting 2.0 world where #[6]​ created v4v with John C Dvorak. #[2]​ and Adam at some point pretty recently created a polished doc explaining it quite recently. I have 0 issues with calling zaps “zaps” - I think it’s cool. But value for value describes very well what is going on. Long story short .. I was making a poor attempt at a joke. I’m all for calling zaps and such v4v because it describes perfectly what’s going on .. someone is providing value in the form of content ( a note ) and someone else is providing value back in the form of zaps. Just my two sats and people can do and say whatever they want of course but I think most people who dismiss the v4v philosophy really don’t understand it for one thing.

But some people don’t like calling it V4V 😂

Little late on this one but .. cool .. It’s an interesting digital law framework Wyoming is building.

To each their own but v4v denotes exactly what it means. The listeners to my podcast who support the show through the “three t’s” of time, talent or treasure (sats) are providing value to the show in return for the value I provide to them.
