It's nice to see some newer faces to the bitcoin conference scene. No offense to the legends that have come before but it can get a bit boring sometimes!
Does speed wallet have LN addresses by any chance?
In my experience WoS was useful for initially showing people LN. Afterwards, people started using LN wallets with their own keys
That's a shame. I'm a node runner but it's great for showing people the lightning network in less than a minute (if they haven't downloaded a LN wallet before)
Does anybody know when WoS will work in the US again?

You guys are so inspiring, I always feel like I'm not doing enough so I decided to make a new Substack! Not another bitcoin Substack, I hear you say! π I genuinely believe mine is different to others I read. I'm not technical and don't have programming skills but I've been active in the community for a long time. (My business has accepted bitcoin since 2013 and does everything it can to promote it!).
After years of showing friends and family that Bitcoin is a tool for financial freedom and individual empowerment (most people in my circles stack sats in cold storage), I decided to start a newsletter. I wanted to make it easier for them to follow what's happening in the space.
Check it out, and donβt hold back on the feedback! I'd be grateful if you could share it with any newbies, subscribe and don't hesitate to contact me if you're up for some cooperation. I do have my business to run though, so time is limited. So far it's going really well and I'm enjoying it! Enjoy and thanks! ππ§‘π

Jsonbits is asking on nostr:npub1jfujw6llhq7wuvu5detycdsq5v5yqf56sgrdq8wlgrryx2a2p09svwm0gx What do you think is the biggest thing holding back mainstream merchant adoption?

I think there needs to be demand from paying bitcoiners first. And bitcoiners need to go full in bitcoin even before that. Otherwise they tend to fall in Gresham's law fallacy
Removing capital gains tax would increase merchant adoption.
