Principle of least action

Just moved my mortgage to people choice, and I do enjoy the setup of a credit union. Even if it’s just a wrapper round the same turd, being a member is kind of… fun.

So the new willow chip has just over 100 qubits and solved a benchmark that just generates a random distribution. Breaking Bitcoin’s encryption would require an immense number of qubits. To crack it in an hour approximately 317 million physical qubits would be necessary. a day would still demand around 13 million qubits.

Prob pretty far off. Computer compounds for sure, but quantum computers still aren’t super useful for compute.

Hahahaha I love this take

To be fair, new nuclear designs improve on the water requirements

I don’t think he’s a neonazi, but there’s definitely a lot more Hitler was right content on X

Similar trend to younger crc patients in Australia too

I think some of those subsidies go to the only two refineries we operate. Without them, we’d be completely dependent on imported diesel for our trucking industry. A pretty big geopolitical weakness. Unfortunately, we don’t have a good alternative to trucks for getting food to woolies.

The fuel tax credit scheme is the main cost. On paper, it seems kind of fair - but in reality is prob rorted.

Other subsidies can fuck off tho.

I’m mixed race, but seventh gen aus on my mums side. I think it’s fair to worry about becoming a cultural minority. It happened to indigenous Australians, it sure as shit can happen again.

Why you such an antinatalist?

I like your point, but over what time period are those figures for?

It’s actually disappointing when ChatGPT is down. Need to decouple from that service.

Human collectives that achieve scale generally default to master-slave dynamics. We’re not that different from ancient Rome. Masters just financialised and outsourced accomodation and amenities for (wage) slaves.

I’m not convinced that sound money would fix or even improve this dynamic…

If you created a law that made it a legal requirement for companies to pay employees for the time spent commuting by car, corporations and people might suffer initially, but they’ll be better in the long term.

GM nostr. May the bourse be with you.
