Spreading the good word
Getting close, trying to avoid half year pre-order wait times this time around so building up production capacity first
You guys have no idea how beautiful this image is and how incredibly painful it was to finally get here, but we fucking did it⦠
Final fantasy 7 all the way!
Just dropped a memorial weekend sale!
We need a Woodstock style Bitcoin gatheringā¦enough of the closed door 1k per ticket elitist stuff with half the influencers talking about working with the states and global leadersā¦we need something where everyone is invited for free, bitcoin is a free permission-less and open protocol for all, and a gathering where people all around the world cane come and talk about it whether you have 10000 bitcoin or 10k sats needs to happenā¦
Yep id love to see a VC funded hardware startup survive 3 bear markets with no fundingā¦bootstrapped companies are built differentā¦
Yes, but we will only be focusing on bitcoin apps within our OS, there is nothing stopping you from installing those apps directly though!
There is no recovery option so you have to reflash your sd card
Dropping this here first!
"We are excited to launch FutureBit Grants, with our first recipient being Con Kolivas #[0] . Con has been instrumental in developing cgminer, ckpool, and propagating the stratum protocol, all of which have been the backbone of the Bitcoin mining infrastructure for the past decade. His open-source work has been co-opted into closed-source software used by large ASIC manufacturers and their pools, enabling them to make billions in profits with little credit to him and even less returned to the Bitcoin FOSS community to enable more decentralized mining solutions.
This changes today, and we are happy to contribute to work that will modernize the open-source ckpool. It will be deployed to all Apollo BTC units in the future, enabling every Apollo user to be their own stratum pool and solo mine to their own node. This will also be deployable to any small farm operator who wants to mine to their node and avoid centralized pools. We plan to continue investing in this space and enable R&D for additional decentralized pool protocols to ensure that Bitcoin's power remains squarely in the hands of the people."
Yea NIP5 does not make sense for people that donāt own domains which is a large share of the publicā¦whoever solves a decentralized identity protocol that anyone can use and does not involve scanning your eyeballs will have something big
So how are images hosted? Iām assuming not relays since this would obviously not be sustainable long term
It's time to get BitcoinĀ into more schools. Education is key to our future, and if you know any Bitcoin friendly schools that want to teach our next generation about the power of uncensorable and ungovernable monetary system using the hardware that runs it send them my way!
Bad for who is the real question, Bitcoin was create for this so that statement does not make senseā¦
Donāt know about you guys, but this weekend was a pretty big tell on who the real bitcoiners are and those that were sitting on large piles of fiat / stablecoins masquerading around as bitcoiners š¤£
Everyone needs to go read what is embedded in Bitcoins genesis block
and fully understand what that means. Itās clear very few doā¦
And yet people are selling their Bitcoinā¦itās incredible how much work we still have to do and how few people truly understand what this is
