linear + morgen is a really cool workflow. linear syncs issues from github so I can access all of my github issues and timeblock them in my calendar with morgen.
I can't imagine how janky their syncing integrations are to make this all work though. nostr fixes this... one day.

I was told to post any bugs I see in notedeck to here and tag you to make sure there were open issues for these things. I also included a couple feature requests. This is on Linux desktop(Arch Linux/KDE Desktop) with the latest commit and built from source. Also, I don't see an apk release yet, but I built from the latest source and it is running on LineageOS 22.1:
1) Need some kind of text input sanitation for putting in hashtags. They are case sensitive(get different results for example: notedeck, NoteDeck, Notedeck) and it is unclear on if you should include the hashtag itself (derek did say in his video the other day not to) but it would be nice if it would strip any hashtags added and maybe switch it all to lower case and then fix the back end search that it does to include all results without case sensitivity.
2) The delete(trash can) icon doesn't show up until my mouse is over it. Also doesn't show up in android, but if you touch where it is, the menu comes up to confirm.
3) Would be great to have the side bar expand on mouse over with the deck names or at least a hover tip(icons or a letter get real complicated to remember what they stand for with more than a couple decks)
4) The side or any user interface doesn't show up at all in android unless you go into landscape mode(I would assume the interface probably isn't really designed for small phone displays anyway)
5) When trying to paste in my nsec, no menu comes up on right-mouse click on desktop. Ctrl-v does work though. I also get no keyboard when clicking on text fields and no option to paste text on android.
6) When clicking on a thread, is it supposed to just keep opening up if you click on it repeatably? I can make a video of what I am talking about if need be, but if you just keep clicking it opens the same thread over and over and over.(I see the big red message that says threads is alpha and that things will be broken 😉 )
7) And just for fun I tried to install on very old firehd10 tablet from like 2017 and get an index parsing error when trying to install the apk. I am going to guess that is just a being older than dirt problem 😄

1) Metamask swap the VVV for USDC (Base)

People need to touch grass or build their own NOSTR client. Lot of complaining from people that do nothing. Meanwhile devs are working for a fraction of what they could be making with a big tech company and all they get is complaints. I’m a proud nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 purple subscriber. Not because I use notedeck, but because it’s a small amount of money to support devs.
Honestly if it weren’t for the fact that i want nostr the succeed, the amount of stress from people saying you suck every day and are not working fast enough or on the right features is exhausting. I don’t know who would subject themselves to this if it was just for a paycheck, like you said i could be getting paid more elsewhere for a lot less stress and more time with my family.

This greatly discourages (me) to zap. By comparison, in Primal I can zap multiple comments by just tap-tap-tapping through the list.
Also, I like to see right away the number of zap and likes of each comment in the list. These number provide useful community-context.
Have these opinions been removed to get a more minimalistic appearance?
