working on getalby.com - a browser extension with lightning and Nostr support

you can connect your Umbrel LND node to getalby.com - though this is still a bit tricky and Tor makes it slow and often fails.

that’s how the spec works.

that public key is from the key that signs the zaps - that’s basically confirming that the payment was received.

clients can validate that

yes. it’s enabled now for all @getalby.com lightning addresses. snort.social is imo the best clients to see and send zaps currently.

Here is a simple cloudflare worker that allows you to publish Nostr events through a non-blocking HTTP request.

Helpful for apps that can not add websockets or can not be blocked while events are published to multiple relays.

Gute Frage. Ich glaube die meisten wallets unterstützen vermutlich HTTP redirects. Also wenn dein server das kann, dann ist das vermutlich das beste.

actually damus should support zaps already. they invented it :)

If you use the getalby.com wallet with your own domain, then update the JSON file and the lightning address on your own domain also zupportz zaps!

Du solltest das LNURL JSON auf deiner domain aktualisieren. dann kann deine yael@yael.at LN addresse auch zaps.

in case you missed it: your @getalby.com lightning address now supports zaps!

there is nothing that you need to do. just enjoy being zaped :)

afaik the npubs is mainly a representation for users. apps use hex.

we (the zapper/zap provider) sign the zap when the payment is received with that key.

this way clients can validate that the zap event is actually signed by the server that received the payment.

from: https://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/zappzarapp

"describes a quick, inconspicuous movement with which something is taken away"

does every nostr user know the German word zappzarapp already?
