Oh yes they will support it almost certainly. I am waiting for the fold to drop in price, I think it is completely overpriced for now.
Is Graphene OS already supporting the pixel 8 pro?
I cried when I discovered this concept 16 years ago. As far as I know the central bank also claims an interest on the money lent to the government, this is why countries are always in debt.
It definitely isn't fun for the woman and anyone around. Sometimes it all comes down to how the baby is attaching when feeding.
I understand you are American, I also understand you are using sarcasm to somehow disagree with me. Which I think is worse then accepting reality and finding a way around problems. You seem to imply with your comments that you have a better way then mine to solve the troubles that governments worldwide are putting us through. Can you please elaborate what is your suggestion as to how we can free ourselves from the dystopian reality that is forming around us? I am open to change and improvement. If you also really cannot think of anything else, sarcasm and free advertisement of Trump will not help you, your country or anyone else.
It is very bad. In my humble opinion the only thing you can fight all of this is civil disobedience, set up your life in a way you do not have to pay taxes legally. Go to the country that treats you best, educate everyone you have a good relationship with to do the same and to use methods of exchange of goods and services that cut the government out. Depower the state. Avoiding the machine that scans your face when you are travelling is virtue signaling at best, because of the reasons I mentioned earlier.
This is not to defend the government or support any disgusting measure like facial recognition to control the masses but maybe the way to opt out here is more complicated. The only reason why they can use the tech for facial recognition to compare you with your passport picture is because your face was already scanned when you applied for the passport. The biometrics of your face are already in the database that those machines are using. You could argue that you are training the recognition system, but it is already being trained with other cameras.
If you really wished to opt out you would need to wear some type of mask all of the time (I am not suggesting to do that) and you should travel only by car, train and ship.
If you go at the passport control with a police officer there is a camera there as well, collecting your biometrics in the exact same way. The only real difference is that the officer might ask you additional unpleasant questions.
I am all about privacy, but I have to agree here. They already have the data. Moreover if you go to the police officer to check your passport at the border he is using the same facial recognition and there is a camera pointed at your face anyway... I respect the wish to opt out of it, but in this context there is not really an alternative, "opting out" is more of a feeling of doing that then actually doing it. The only way to opr out would be to travel by car and ship.
Can you point me out the decisions that Monero has made to favor privacy over decentralization? I was convinced that RandomX to avoid ASICs taking most of hash power was actually more decentralised then Bitcoin POW. I thought it was a good solution to avoid having most hash power concentrated in the hands of wealthy mining company owners as is happening with Bitcoin.
In this article they go in depth on all of the current shortcomings of Lighting network. For now at the very least, monero is necessary to anonymize on chain bitcoin before getting on lightning layer 2 or to swap monero for lightning network bitcoin somewhere kyc free.

Probably those who have access to more advanced tech had a breakthrough š. They feel their egemony will not be threatened by sharing language models with us plebs.
What the hell Russian people have to do with war? This is complete nonsense. When in the recent past such racism was applied on the population for the foreign policy of a government? It seems like an orchestrated effort to make Russian people feel like they should consider westerns as enemies (which is failing, at least with the Russians I know).
Agreed, we only need lightning network to be truly private and censorship free. Then Monero would not be needed anymore. Can you tell me how you are using Bitcoin right now to transact privately? Maybe I am missing something.
Monero will not be considered a shitcoin until people have a way to transact with full privacy using Bitcoin. If Bitcoin implements a full private layer, then Monero may be seen as a shitcoin.
Great summary of easy things to do to improve greatly your level of privacy. I would suggest paying for anything you can, using Monero for greater privacy, even if you buy Bitcoin non-KYC your spending history and habit can be analysed, connecting it with a pseudonym, an original IP or any other information available and there is the risk you may slip at some point and get everything connected to you.
I would also add:
Trade Monero for cash in person and spend cash everywhere, many times you get better deals when paying cash, everyone loves you more and you improve your privacy.
I have no doubt there is a real person behing the keyboard. You are just not the person in the pictures, it's ok. None minds here :)
All of the character of Mia is AI made. Interesting times ahead. Soon we will not be able to tell the difference, I guess some people fall for this as well.
It is fine indeed, but it would be nice if they could recover their account via email. If I were to build a system for this I would give the option of the ability to recover the account with email, if activated, you should have a disclaimer explaing you the risk of someone taking over the account and know that nsec is more secure. So people can choose convenience over security and enjoy nostr with us :).
Absolutely agreed, the average person will not save their nsec key and would not know where to save it. I know several people that even after I told them about password keepers like keepass are still using pen and paper to save their user and passwords. All of these people will just leave as soon as they think that they have to write down all of their nsec key on their password notepad š
I was not aware this tech existed. Thanks for the heads up :)
