I don't make 50 EUR per hour. :-)
Or 45 EUR. :-/
Also Me: (calling up work for overtime opportunities)
Previous Me: I probably make more then him
(facts revealed)
Current Me: I should definitely push for that promotion at work. :-)
* He was like... You do.*
Low blow.
*He also brings in cash as the local handyman.*
Damn. Is he ever at rest?
By Nassau County standards, it's an enviable home.
By McMansion Sunbelt USA standards, it's probably on the smaller side.
I was told that European houses are all hilariously small.
This is larger than my home!
Damn. 4X?
A lot of woman would definitely love to be Mrs. 4X. :-)
...that's not a hobby.
It's more of a raging legal liability that may also provide emotional benefits.
Maybe more young men need expensive hobbies. :-)
I'm one of the weirdos that would rather take the money because money can be exchanged for train tickets and airline points.
I suspect if my parents were around, I could have ended up in that state. There were unmarried white men at my job that were in their 40s that lived off their parents for all intents and purposes, and one of them was *never* going to get married as he was a bit too, um, awkward to keep a woman around for the long-term. The other was engaged, but his low income and pot friendly lifestyle was going to become an impediment to a functional *and* serious relationship.
If you're immune to social shaming by friends, family, and the rest of society, or you have low needs, it's easy to skate by. The minute that you want nice things, you'll have to start to working.
IOW, I could have stayed part-time, but if I wanted a nice shiny car, I'd have to work full time. And guess what happened...
If you're getting far more attention for being attractive on social media, and you can somehow win some sexual activity, there isn't exactly an incentive to do better.
FWIW, it doesn't work for *all* men though.
She seems very introverted and nerdy, so this seems like it's going to be a harder road for her compared to your son. I suspect if you're going to intervene, you'll need to cast a *very* wide net of potential suitors, or hope that the next level of education will have some potential fellow manga nerds for her.
How online is she in the first place?
*who have multiple kids in their 40s and 50s*
Are they delusional, or is it simply said to push the conversation along? My godmother stopped asking, my aunts seem to know better than to ask me, and everybody asks about my brother.
In your case, I still think it's too early since she's still in the German equivalent of high school.
*That would make my head itch, like crazy. Very sensitive scalp.*
The Africans have all sorts of magical solutions to make that go away. Long-term issues TBD. :-P
With that said, if he likes your short haircut, rock the short hair. Two decades of marriage can't be wrong here. :-)
Really? I always assumed the vast majority of men ask out women. The like a girl, they ask, and hope for the best.
*I cut it super short on a whim and it's taking forever to grow out. Driving me nuts.*
And that's why my female coworkers love their wigs. :-)
So where's the rest? :-)
Some young (and not so young) men are nervous and awkward about this and never quite make the next leap to say "would you like to go out sometime?"*, or they're hilariously oblivious to any female interest. "Maybe she's just friendly" is what I've told myself for years.
*I'm in my late 30s and I've never actually done that.
