Indian cities would have everything that I listed once current projects are completed, and the existing projects mature more.
Considering the current status, progress of and deadlines for the development of digital and physical infrastructure of Indian cities, I am getting a sense that it will become quite attractive to live there after 2030.
Most cities around the world would lack at least one or all of the following: free and ubiquitous online payments, cheap and almost 24/7 last mile delivery of food and groceries, multi-modal transport hubs, online platforms for home services, cultural, social and economic diversity.
I see a lot of people migrating to these places from abroad in the 30's. Not just Indians coming back but also non-Indians looking for opportunities.
Policy initiatives like Digital India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, Swachh Bharat and the India Stack of UPI, Aadhar, IMPS, NEFT, Rupay, Digi Locker, eKYC (and upcoming components like AA and ONDC) have made India's national security and sovereignty incredibly robust and resistant to the overreach of the Eurodollar establishment.
It is clear that emerging economies are threatened by dollarisation and a modern form of technological and monetary colonialism. They can try to resist it, but it will prove futile. (Eg: Argentina, Nigeria, Turkey, Venezuela.)
Massive Credit to the respective political parties, policy makers, govt organisations, companies etc. who have done excellent jobs for our country.
And the fact that we've done all this while remaining a democracy, having a relatively open internet and somewhat allowing dissent to exist is a testament to the spirit of the country.

'Bitcoin may be the key to extending western civilization'
No.
It would be unfair to say this about Mutiny without giving additional context
This is their explanation about why the issue occurs.

They've explained other issues as well here:
https://blog.mutinywallet.com/mutiny-wallet-faq/
Won't be using it for a long time but I will definitely come back when the wallet is hopeful better, as I hope will be the case with Bitkit, Blixt, Zeus, Breez, Muun all of which I've stopped using
I still haven't found THE Lightning wallet that I can use as a primary.
UPI has been setting standards for scalable digital payments and continuously raising them for about half a decade now

SEO ranking is a poor qualitative indicator. Quantitative metrics like number of backlinks, Keyword usage, etc. are given more importance.
Someone searching for the term 'Hard forks vs Soft Forks' should ideally find Lopp's website, River's Learn section, Andreas's video or a long-time core dev's explanation of the difference rather than some shitcoin exchange's website that only wants the user's money for revenue.
I discovered good resources through numerous hours listening to people have conversations on Twitter about certain people, websites and organisations and manually and mentally assigning a credibility rating for each.
It was a long iterative process and I don't want others to go through that. That's a lot of time wasted. It isn't productive for multiple people to waste days, weeks or months before they find out that crypto or even Bitcoin sometimes is full of shit.
The concept of Custom GPT's caught my attention because of this. I will have to actually build one before I can get an idea about how much impact they can have.
But whether or not Custom GPT's make it possible, a model trained on resources I know are trustworthy can help build better educational tools for people I know. They don't have to deal with SEO-ridden bullshit ever again when it comes to Bitcoin.
A brief, but surface-level look at various protocols and standards that make up the open internet of today only makes me believe that Bitcoin is a part of it, not the whole.
What we call the 'internet' has the potential to exponentially transform every single one of over 8 billion lives.
I believe we have barely scratched the surface of what it possible. We are still quote early.
All I want to do is to get my funds off this wallet forever
I am never coming back to Mutiny for a long time one I've sweeped
About 100 payment attempts of various sizes and more than half of them failed
Shoot me please

Thinking of all the divisive political conversations based on clickbaits, lack of thoughtfulness in public conversation about government policies, erosion of media credibility due to their abdication of responsibilities of being the fourth pillar to optimise for SEO metrics so that their websites can generate revenue.
Websites of the Indian Gazette, PIB, RBI, law enforcement, departments of ministries on the national and state level, municipal corporations, etc. are barely ranked high.
They are not given backlinks by any media websites that talk about Government policy or announcements.
Social media is not the problem.
SEO is the problem.
I can imagine domain authority, keyword optimisation, backlinks, etc. cannot be in the minds of policy makers. They shouldn't be.
Discoverability should not matter in the content of Govt websites, bills and press releases related to policy changes or announcements.
Yet it does.
This is something I've been thinking about.
There has to be a middle ground here.
A solution.
I don't know how we do it, but the internet needs to be freed of the clutches of search engines.
Learning about SEO has made me realise how much the internet has been ruined by them.
An SEO-ridden internet is not what I want future generations to grow up on.
LLM's, Nostr or Bitcoin.
I don't know.
I am searching for solutions.
nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg is there a way to see the route a payment used? I just paid for coffee with Mutiny and it felt as slow as when I pay with my tor-only node 😅
Zeus lets you see this
Good thread with a conversation about how backups work on Mutiny

I expect that it will happen gradually over the next 2-3 years, but we're slowly moving towards agreeing on a way to recover Lightning funds
Don't think we were anywhere close to this a couple years back, leave alone being able to use Lightning fully self-custodial from our phones.
It's very good progress

This 100%

Zeus funds got forced closed and can't recover the on-chain funds on Sparrow or Electrum because they don't support that type of seed
Mutiny can't find routes for outgoing payments and there doesn't seem to be a resolution to this issue at the moment
Another self-custodial wallet I'm using has the same issue as Mutiny: can't find routes for outgoing payments
RIP
