I loved the narrative about power corrupting even those who seem incorruptible. That alone made it a worthwhile watch.
On a Bitcoin standard, it becomes feasible to run local grocery stores with an emphasis on building relationships by offering specialised procurement of goods that doesn't have enough demand, retaining customers by building human connections and procuring goods from local producers.
I'm not implying that it will happen. Only that it will be feasible.
Realising the nature of smart contracts and learning the implications of upgradeable and non-upgradeable smart contracts, their tradeoffs and what smart contract ownership means was eye-opening.

Censorship-resistance at the application layer is being solved with Bitcoin and Nostr.
At the Network and Transport layer, we have VPN's, proxies and TOR.
I have not yet discovered solutions for censorship-resistance at the network access layer yet. (This would be the layer where you deal with ISP's)

Yep, if there is no anonymity at the network/transport layer, anonymity at the application layer can't exist.
