Love this one!
Apparently it’s very easy to get shitcoiners to sell their BTC to you at a discount.
Interesting tradeoff
Yes the interactions with the device are really cool when you get the hang of them I think you’re right, it was just a bit error prone when trying to enter an arbitrary string.
Yup I want to love it, the form factor and security is great. But there is something I had a hard time with, I think it was the pass phase UX (I kept making mistakes) but it’s been a while so I could be wrong.
The best/fastest camera for QRs. The menu system grew on me but initially i kept making mistakes (probably a “me” problem)
Blows my mind that exchanges supposedly still have millions of bitcoins for sale.
Haven’t tried that yet but looks interesting. I like that jade has a unique security model, great as part of a multisig.
If AI tooling can consistently fix bugs engineers cannot, that would be a major shift.
What a weirdo
Nunchuk has amazing UX, better than most non Bitcoin apps.
Knowing you can/how to recover that wallet on something like sparrow is a good step for people to understand how it works.
Multi sig isn’t that hard to understand IMO. You just need to know that the padlock blueprint needs all the individual keys to be recreated from scratch.
Favorite all time software wallets used without hardware signers.
1) Blue wallet or Nunchuk - great for different reasons.
2) Bitcoin core.
I like Jade when used with blockstream green desktop.
? To me, to you. I don’t think I’ve wrapped my head around taproot but the public key would just be a hash of the total spend path scripts without actually revealing the base public key that is associated?
Favorite all time hardware wallets:
1) coldcard q
2) coldcard mk4
3) trezor model t (ok shitcoins)
4) keystone 3 (ok shitcoins, great ux)
