I'm trying to imagine on X or any number of social media sites creating meetups. On FB that would be seniors discount day at the local bingo claiming marketplace prizes. On X that meetup would be Gangs of New York or Red Dawn. I'd be there with the SKS, Ak-47 and flamethrower bursting through the door yelling it's time to hunt some NAFO's. It wouldn't be pretty, but that's part of X allure as digital Thunderdome.

Clearly that's not a healthy environment in both cases. All day on FB reading the obituaries or going full Mad Max on X.

Asking your input on one more item because I respect your knowledge and training. Down the road, someone uses Nostr as their voice in the manner you previously noted. What can we as Nostr users do, not just the obvious, but it's good to go over that still, to make it a better experience? I'm thinking a do's and dont's for us when someone does note here..

Honestly I think a read of this nature would be really valuable for everyone here. I'd be willing to donate an extra $50 to the charity for your time as a thank you, because it is time consuming. My goal here for Virginia's memory is if she could say that's the experience opening up she would have wanted to see for others, it would be a nice way to truly honour her by making a real difference.

It's the way it should be and I hope other survivors can see for themselves through this example that they will be welcomed and heard through their own words. One additional benefit on Nostr is there is also a sense that real people will respond, offer support and communication, ask questions about if they can help or if they are alright without the centralized bot emotional psyop interference campaigns that happen elsewhere. For a while Canada was testing bots to respond with MAID (Medical assistance in dying) suggestions on social platforms, along with the government ad to people literally begging for help after using the national suicide help line. Those ads won't happen here.

Agree. It's overwhelming at times. What I did with X was narrow down to about 10 people who were each knowledgeable about one topic and let them keep me up to date rather than news feed.
