Yeah, I also read Hƶrstās book and just couldnāt find a way to fit his protocol into my climbing schedule
That was what I was referring to before. Great book š
But I think Iāll have a look at this 3-6-9 protocol š
Honestly, I suck at sticking to a year round protocol. In the climbing season I just climb hard and when I donāt get to climb a lot I do a kind of variation of Steveās non linear periodizatiom where I do strength/power/(power)endurance in alternating sessions with a focus on one of them at a time.
I havenāt tried Steveās protocol yet. But Iāve read his book and Iām implementing some of his stuff into my training.
For finger strength I do just normal max hangs:
6 sets of 10s hangs with 2-3min rest in between on a 20mm edge with as much weight added so that I can just about finish the last set with good form.
Pretty simple but highly effective (for me at least). Went from 7c to 8b in a year
I donāt have time for a second rabbit hole lol
I actually never looked up the origins of it, but how it is used today seems to be mostly generic stuff that applies to most of the population.
Thanks man!
Angry animals mid-route are really a thing lol. My girlfriend was bitten by a mouse once that lived in one of the holes. And I once encountered a hornets nest mid route. I bailed really fast on that one š
And another one from Sneznik, Czech Republic.
Fun little boulder I did in Fontainebleau, France a few years ago
Currently on the couch daydreaming about my time climbing in Peru š§āāļø
These are a few pics from a couple of climbs I did there last October, including my first multi pitch with 3 people (my man, a friend, and I). https://nostrcheck.me/media/public/nostrcheck.me_1367717014868879201688323198.webp https://nostrcheck.me/media/public/nostrcheck.me_5189613346150744171688323211.webp https://nostrcheck.me/media/public/nostrcheck.me_2120931708348135091688323220.webp

Five. I guess I have some watching to do.
There's still no reddit like nostr alternative out there sadly..
satellite.earth will get āsubredditsā soon.

How do āsubredditsā work on nostr though? I would like to subscribe to topics and not to the people I follow here.
Have you orange pilled them yet? š
That would be pretty cool! Iāll check it out.
