Don’t worry, I’m already familiar with most of the central claims of holocaust deniers (been reading them on and off for a few years now), and like with AGW, realizing how bad most of the arguments against it are when you really scrutinize them has only made me more confident in the veracity of the mainstream holocaust narrative. Just earlier today I was having fun taunting one of them for falling for the wooden doors bullshit, which happens to be one of their most widely-believed claims despite, like most of the other ones, falling apart under scrutiny.

WRT Irving, even taking this “started out as a holocaust believer, but was “persuaded” by the sheer weight of the evidence” account at face value, Irving didn’t have resources like Google (and ChatGPT) to easily tell when you’ve been presented with BS claims, and what’s more sus out why they’re BS.

But I question his personal account of his younger years. To me it sounds like he’s probably the Patrick Moore of holocaust deniers. Moore, if you’re not familiar, was an AGW denier that claimed to be a co-founder of Greenpeace and President during their early years. Greenpeace disputes this, saying he was a member during the 70s, but wasn’t a co-founder and never held any leadership role. Assuming the Greenpeace side of the story is accurate, Moore was obviously just misrepresenting his background to bolster his credentials as some kind of good-faith skeptic, and I suspect it’s also the same with Irving.

Anyways, there’s just way too much evidence, coming from too many sources, for someone to conclude that the holocaust didn’t happen, or that it happened but the scale of it is significantly exaggerated, so don’t worry, lol.
