remember using it just to play embedded games when I was about 5yrs old

It will be surprising if it doesn't use nostr. I expected jack to add nostr to Tidal in exactly this way and was really looking forward to it, now my(our) dream is becoming a reality.

what in the actual...

when did this happen???

moving fast, nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m

slow-clap

I thought it would take a couple years before someone the size of tidal would write "nostr" in their codebase

they're also cooking a new social media for artists

I can't believe Mastodon has had completely arbitrary follower counts determined by whoever is serving the profile all these years:

So basically on Mastodon each user can basically pick a number and decide that's it and the entire network will just accept it -- or perhaps "question it", but just accept it most of the times.

And people say Mastodon is better than Nostr or has "solved" that side of the UX while Nostr is awful because follower counts are different depending on how you look.

they can, they are afraid, so they spoil our reputation with their shitcoins and pass off their centralized systems as decentralized
