I wasn’t able to hack it in the global economy. I worked in restaurants for 18 years and got nowhere, dropped out of college five times and quit half a dozen careers. I went on a bitcoin standard a few years ago and I’m effectively “retired” now in the sense that I no longer have to work exploitative jobs. I do what I want now that I’m not desperately struggling to make ends meet.

Maybe they are all simply collections of ideas that were hijacked, branded, and monetized. I don’t think Jesus wanted to be worshipped. I suspect he was just trying to show us a way to live well and love each other.

I fear that one day the same will happen to Bitcoin. The original ethos could be warped, bent, and used by bad actors to control the masses.
