The Eugene web doctor site has gotten a little bit of an overhaul.

Due to the insane amounts of spam on both phone and email, I have moved to a booking system to book consulting times And to help prioritize legitimate service requests.

I think some of the more annoying emails that this business gets is emails from sketchy companies trying to get me to do SEO stuff through them. I'm fairly positive, pretty much all of them are scams, so I'm okay with ignoring them.

But I've been working on SEO tuning myself and I'm pretty stoked to say that for local searches, for Eugene, web hosting, and web services in general, I'm starting to show up in some of the top results in Google without running ads. All I've done is change the wording of some of my content and added a few extra sections.

Also, in this update, I added a page for Bitcoin services. I want to help local businesses. Well, really any business integrate Bitcoin into their business.

I had to link to this nostr profile on the footer. Eugene web doctor doesn't have traditional social media presence. Which might be good or bad. I don't really know. But I am trying to represent a positive side of nostr and Bitcoin for my area.

I was a little worried about Bitcoin scaring away some customers and also promoting non-traditional social media but I don't really care anymore. I will be unabashedly myself and if that scares away clients then so be it.

It's still essentially the same site, but it's much leaner, making it faster. No more external dependencies. It's just pure HTML and CSS with a few lines of Java For the contact form.
