Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

I don’t understand the grudge people hold over this. They took a shot and missed. I don’t think losers need to apologize when they don’t win a game. They were acting for what they thought was the future of bitcoin at the time, just like we were when we rejected them.

If BitGo is helping Swan serve Texas, isn’t that self-evidently good, irrespective of the outcome of the block size wars?

You can borrow this style, using rechargeable batteries and add a little bulk for the cam

Abuse of the electrical grid network could be defined as using the electrical grid in a way that is detrmental to other users, such as inefficiently using electrical capacity, drawing more power than needed, and so on

It sounds like you are trynig to impose a social-layer limitation on the use of blockspace that exists independent of the consensus rules. IMO, that is fiat-style thinking that the banks use to block legitimate guns, drugs, etc.

I don’t think we should be trying to legislate what should and should not be done within the confines of the concensus rules. A valid block is a valid block.

You can’t be a purist in this regard. So-called bugs are just features of the code until the consensus decides otherwise.

Trustless and permissionless mean people will do what they do with the blockspace given the parameters. That’s why we have consensus rules around the limitationsof the space. I’m sure ordinals want bigger blocks, but they will have to go to another blockchain to get them.
