Why are humans obsessed with “vibe checking“ and “moderation” in online spaces. People are very different across the entire population, if you’re trying to curate vibes on a decentralized network then by definition you are excluding a huge percentage of the world, and are exercising power in an unreasonable way just because you are an engineer on the network. Bluesky is currently down because they are updating their database and server, on which the entire decentralized bluesky is hosted. They will restart it soon.
