People in Bitcoin would do well to understand what the word "Jurisdiction" means. If a court and legislatures in Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia outlawed Bitcoin, all the huffing and puffing ignorant Ugly Americans wouldn't be clutching their pearls about it, but if it is Britain that does it, all of a sudden, THIS IS A HUGE ATTACK ON RIGHTS!

Americans don't understand their own country, why it is special and why the judgements of backwards countries like Britain simply don't count for much to anyone who can actually THINK.

If Britain never ever used Bitcoin forever and the rest of the world settled on it, what on earth do you think 67.33 million people not using Bitcoin compared to 7.888 BILLION people in terms of difference of outcome would make?

The real question is this; do you have ANY APPRECIATION OF ANY KIND OF THE SCALE IF THE POPULATION OF THE EARTH? Do you know what the difference between a BILLION people and A MILLION PEOPLE is?

If you do, you don’t care a HOOT about what silly little Britain decides to do about Bitcoin; the world is an absolutely HUGE PLACE with literally BILLIONS of people on it.

If Bitcoin served only ONE SEVENTH of the world’s population, it would be 117.15 times as many people than are in Britain, and there are TWO BILLION unbanked so the number is probably three times 117.15, taking into account everyone else who will be onboarded.

People like to whine and go into panic mode about tiny little inconsequential places that go anti-Bitcoin, but the reality is the situation is EXTREMELY POSITIVE for anyone WHO HAS A GLOBE IN THEIR HOUSE and who knows how to COUNT.

We had an awesome time with noobs to OGs all ages in both Spanish n English.

I really can't say enough of how fun it is to get together, explore and orange and purple pill people.

I suggest others plan travel get togethers, camping, skiing, surfing, beaching, walking, hiking, fishing, diving...you get the idea.

We will doing many more smaller events all over Mexico now. We see the power of getting together and the fun of working as a team in real life.

We did a kayaking trip to a cenote as well as flamingos at sunset. I'll see if I can share some of them that were taken by another photographer.

Apropos of nothing, I think part of the reason I'm more comfortable sharing random things on nostr over Twitter (despite the inability to delete) is that there's this palpable but unspoken "agreement" that all of us on here are trying something new and organically respecting others' "journey" as well.
