what concerns me is that most of America's population is urban. Apartment dwellers will be in trouble. Suburban households have a better chance with their fenced yards.
What does Europe think will happen if they go to war with Russia and its allies? Surely they've war-gamed it.
I agree the treatment of the DOD is ridiculous. The idea, though, that DOGE should be audited before any existing govt agency is absurd. Yes the whole thing should be as transparent as possible, but this should apply to every govt agency. Pull back the curtains. Show us every penny being spent. Quit protecting govt workers. They aren't a special class, and no we don't need that vast majority of them. Life will go on just fine if most of them were doing something else. It's a grift.
Sure it does. cutting costs and spending (and yes they have to go together) slows the growth of the debt and holds off default. I just want people to have as much time as possible to prepare.
Perks those who want to make should pursue. There's nothing like driving from my home to work through the countryside seeing live-sustaining resources and people everywhere you look.
