Cracks in laminated wood are tricky, I had to slice away stray fibers to get this to sit flat.
Adding a caul for support, magnets are the instrument repair man's best friend.
That's a beautiful pen, I really like the two tone body. If you like grey Ink... Have you tried Diamine Eclipse? I'm finding myself very interested in Diamine inks at the moment.

I love this purple ink, way before nostr 😂. I'm a lefty, so I'm limited on what nibs work well for me. I have a Lamy Safari in pink with a left hand nib that I like to use.

That's is a lovely purple. I've got Monteverde Rose Noir and DeAtramentis Alexander Hamilton, I didn't used to like the Rose Noir, but it is growing on me.

Yeah, I figured a good bit of the issue is the limitations of AI.
Makes me think the movie is gonna be all flash and bang and no substance. I don't know what the limits of midjourney prompting are. The background of bottom right pulls me in, looks like something back there could be interesting, could be scene setting perhaps.

So, I went to an estate sale today not far from my house. Just because. All I spent was 2 dollars. On Waterman Phileas fountain pen writing set. The pen is used, medium nib, I am cleaning it now. The booklet is missing, but I think it is a steal. What do you think?
