Watercolor on a dot pad? Wow, that's good water control friend. Looks very nice.

Beautiful in it's simplicity.
I think it might be foolish to be proud of things beyond your control.
I am interested as well. I got a planner that claimed to be fountain pen friendly, but it feathers terribly. All I really need is a monthly calendar style.
TIL: Nábrók or Necropants, are pants made from human skin. According to Icelandic superstition, the pants can produce endless money. For it to work, your friends needs to consent, die, then you must flay the skin without any holes then wear it. Then you must enchant it by stealing from a widow.

F*$&!
I like PenChalet because they have great prices on Clairephontaine paper, a great selection of just about everything, and very full (almost too full if you have a large nibbed pen) ink samples. I have also ordered from goldspot, but they didn't have quite the selection I wanted last time.
For the moment....
Wow! I love those sharp edges! What great contrast.
I have that problem with a Pilot metropolitan, but not with the pilot plumix. The only other pen I own is a vac filler that always stays home. Vacuum fillers have a cap at the back that screws down to seal the ink chamber from the feed. They are commonly recommended for travelers because they won't leak even with changes in air pressure, like when flying.
Yes, I almost got the purple original plus, but I'm so glad I went with more neutral colors; every ink I put in this pen looks great in it.
I absolutely understand being busy, just thought I'd give a little feedback. I appreciate your reviews, and how you are the leading edge of #penstr, so glad we have a fountain pen community here.
I used a no.3 round brush. The dark slimy drip in the lower left is dry brush with the ink; it's one of my favorite spots just because that technique worked out so well.
Last night I Inked up my Nahvalur Original Plus (my fancy pen) with Diamine 150th Anniversary Tropical Green. So far, I love this ink, the pictures don't quite do justice to it's vibrant and velvety color. I bought it because MountainOfInk reviewed it as being well behaved and drying quickly, which is exactly what I need because I use this pen to take notes when I'm home (it's too precious a pen for me to take with me). Anyhow, if you need a Christmas ink, I might suggest this one.

Another nostr:npub17nd4yu9anyd3004pumgrtazaacujjxwzj36thtqsxskjy0r5urgqf6950x original to add to the collection. These will be going on the walls of my new office soon!

Nice choices! That one on the right is probably my all time favorite. Congrats!
Thanks! I'm trying to not blend everything so much, so I went for a blocks-of-color sort of feel, and I like it.
Nice review, my only comment would be that I'd love to see a better view of the writing. I look forward to more pen posts!
Lol, my favorite scary stuff is gnome scary stuff.
