#[0] maybe you should allow people to link Nostr accounts to ln.tips accounts, then whenever they commented on a post with "zap 500" you would send a zap on their behalf to the parent.
I forgot what I was going to say.
Good to know. I wish that story was more well-known.
Interesting, I wonder how would they fare if they integrated Nostr.
Something like that would be ideal.
Yes, that's what I mean. The database is doing the questioning.
If you live in a dystopia then it really will not make no difference for you. That's not the case for a big part of the world. Plus you ignored 60% of what I said.
Even then, though, the case you just described involves a bank sending you a message. I can imagine many ways that could be 10x worse in a CBDC world.
It makes no sense at all that you consider your "profile" whatever is the twitter-like view of your notes a client happens to be showing.
Your "profile" can be many things in different contexts. It can even include a selection of your favorite notes or something like that. The concept of "pinning" is really specific to Twitter.
It is somewhat wrong that SQL databases will execute whatever crap unindexed bloated query you happen to send to them without ever questioning your lack of senses.
There is a NIP for this already, https://nips.be/50
Stop wanting everything Twitter has just because you're used to these things.
The government will see all your transactions. It will become impossible to avoid taxes, buy Bitcoin, or do anything at all without them knowing. Plus, they can cut you out of access to any kind of money if so they wish anytime. How is this not horrible?
Not to mention the fact that you can't really buy anything anymore if you don't have internet or electricity? Or if a bug happens that takes the system down?
This is so obviously bad that's why no one has to be saying these things all the time.
Why did Gab stop federating?
Did you just post your private key?
How many clients actually support NIP-26 (contributed by Minds)? https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/26.md
Also wonder if any relays return events by the delegator when you query for that author.
nostr-rs-relay from #[0] was the only one who did, but that was removed because it was bloating the code and making everything awful if I understood correctly.
What is MRF?
Interesting, how do you know a post comes from your app? Is it "custodial"? Are users from your app going to load stuff from other relays too or is it supposed to be a walled environment?
