A] Doesn’t prompt you anywhere to at least (if not more) back up nsec upon login.

B] Doesn’t offer a way to recover nsec if not logged in via a custodial service or something else.

I like that you have to mark “saved” before it lets you press the log out button but many people don’t save their browser caches forever and ever.

I’m still waiting for a nostr app that’s as intuitive as or uses passkeys.

That’s obviously not the legitimate comments I’m referring to. But yes, those are serious points of disinterest by potential users.

Also, why wouldn’t they be allowed to to block anything they want and not have that be the norm? They effectively have for over a decade. Them using the “fediverse” won’t actually ever be them using the “fediverse” and that almost certainly aligns with their goals.

WMR was never ever big enough to be a fad. It could never compete with the others.

I haven’t trusted an exchange or a startup like this with my wealth.

My Bitcoin holdings are less than .1% of my net worth. All of my Bitcoin holdings (albeit small) are on an exchange. I believe that I’m specifically one of those people targeted here.

I’m on Nostr for Nostr, not Bitcoin. But I’m willing to learn why I wouldn’t want to trust an established local credit union’s safe deposit box as much as a solution like this.
