I guess I'm one of those #vtubers. Having fun talking about general topics, vrchat/similar, and games. Also #indiedev #gamedev. You can call me: Freak فْرِيكٌ フリク (still learning Nihongo). #envtuber #podcast #gaming #gamedev

Went ahead and checked out the Threads app. It's neat and smooth. Dunno if I'll use it (probably not) instead of Twitter or Instagram.

What I do know however, is that for me, Nostr swallowed up a decent chunk of Twitter, and it's swallowing up Reddit, Medium, Twitch, and other platforms and services.

Let's go #nostr!

Wait... how come I was able to edit my long-form post in https://hable.news nostr:npub107jk7htfv243u0x5ynn43scq9wrxtaasmrwwa8lfu2ydwag6cx2quqncxg , even though I can't edit normal notes on Nostr?

(Took the opportunity to edit my latest post to include a section about wishing to have the ability to edit notes and mention how it can be potentially done)

woops, typo in the link... I'D LOVE TO EDIT NOTES XD

I would like to thank nostr:nprofile1qqsph3c2q9yt8uckmgelu0yf7glruudvfluesqn7cuftjpwdynm2gygprpmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv4v2h0g for doing the 3.0 UI design for Blowater which was open sourced after his redesign.

https://www.figma.com/file/b8kEZ571uC2LRrvNR5hCsS/Blowater?type=design&mode=design&t=ChXLYNv26IJYbtjf-1

Weeks ago I asked if he could do it for a low price, much lower than market price for a world class UI designer. But he accepted it and has done it well. He even recorded a video to explain his design ideas to me. The speed and quality exceeded my expectation.

The new UI will be gradually implemented in July. You will love it.

Comments welcome!

Last but not least, the work is paid in bits! Honest money warned the honest way!

Beautiful! =3

Since they're celebrating, let's give this nice selfie upload a shot #unleashyourprimal

And now that I look at it... hey primal kinda looking good. Will main it for now on PC =3

Ya.. Turkey is also one of these countries that it's not easy working remotely and getting money transfers normally.

I'm pretty thankful my salary for the past few years has been in Bitcoin/crypto.

When I get paid, I just use binance to p2p trade to lira and it gets sent to my local bank account and service account.

And speaking of that, I was using Wise but apparently it won't work anymore in turkey as they sent an email a week ago that pretty much all Turkish accounts can no longer do almost anything on Wise, so sending and receiving money with my friends outside is not an option anymore, unless. I have to travel elsewhere and get an ID to base my Wise account there to return to normal operations.

Turkey and other similar countries I'd hard to live in, at least in this sense.

I see nostr:npub18n4ysp43ux5c98fs6h9c57qpr4p8r3j8f6e32v0vj8egzy878aqqyzzk9r as the mod for Anime, nice!

But oof... we need a better way for paths. Nobody is gonna say "Have you seen this post in c/naddrabcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyzäöü" xD

Oh? Let's good =3

I'd imagine a solution to this is hiding the string in the back for each website/domain, and presenting the name + number (ex habla.news/c/gaming.1 or something along those lines, where the community address is hidden, and new communities with the same name and a different address would just be presented in the url as (ex habla.news/c/gaming.3 , gaming.3, etc), with all address being visible in the community page/profile itself for those who want that specific address.

Nevermind. I'm still seeing mastodon posts. Removing relays isn't a solution at this point.

I hate this.

I wish there was a way to not see any account with the nip-05 handle mostr.pub and not see any of their posts.

I don't want to see posts outside of Nostr )=

I'm personally using UE5, as I'm not a coder so those blue prints and good UI (in comparison to Unity) is great for me =3

My friend, who is a 2D and 3D artist, used both Unity and Unreal, and he hates Unity so much and loves Unreal, mentioning that Unreal makes the life of a gamedev artist so much better in comparison.

Aside from that, another friend much prefers to use Godot than Unity. He's a coder.

To your question:

If you have a vision for a game, start immediately with figuring out how to make it's main gameplay loop, then develop it and see if it's fun to play. If yes, then move on to art, more features, music, etc.

Generally speaking, see I'd you can join a team in a gamejam event (an event to make a game within 48hrs based on a theme). Best way to learn and learn fast imo.

I was getting really annoyed by having my nostr search filled with mastodon posts / people. Figured out which relay it was getting it from and removed it. I actually took a sigh od relief after that xD

No more mastodon peeps in my global/search feed! =3

Hm.. I hope clients like plebstr adds a feature/function to handle notes posted in communities where:

1. It'd be tagged and that tag is visible. Something along the lines of "this note was posted in the Gaming community" at the top or bottom of a note.

2. An option to show or not show in the normal timeline/feed notes posted in communities (default: don't show?)
