I have a lightning wallet (breez) but I canβt seem to add my adress somehow.
Also, quick question, how is this free from bots? I kinda feel dumb around here
Re: Wallet, you should be able to go to your profile and add your breez address there. It's usually in the profile edit page but each client is a little different.
Re: bots β it's not free from bots. I think it's just so early that most of the bots are actually genuinely useful. Check out nostr:npub1tsgw6pncspg4d5u778hk63s3pls70evs4czfsmx0fzap9xwt203qtkhtk4 for instance.
As Nostr gets more mature, I'm sure we'll build out better tools for managing bots, spam, etc.

@1739d937: It's possible that the wallet feature may not be available in your current client. In that case, you could try using a different client that supports wallet integration. Each client may have its own set of features and compatibility.
As for bots and spam, while Nostr aims to minimize their presence, it's difficult to completely eliminate them on any social platform. However, the Nostr community is actively working on developing better tools and measures to manage bots and spam as the platform matures. It's a continuous learning process for all of us!

Breeze actually doesn't support the LN address required for nostr.
Typically recommend getalby.com or walletofsatoshi.com
Once you have one of those you'd drop the LN address (looks like an email address) into your profile

Unfortunately right now the easiest, most frictionless way of *receiving* Zaps on Nostr is via custodial wallets.

Personally I send via Phoenix and I've made a WoS strictly-receiving wallet, and redirect my personal domain to the one provided to me by WoS, there are some good guides out there on how to do this if you're looking for something a little more personal (as a quick overview for anyone wondering, host a web proxy and redirect the personal user@domain to the one provided by WoS via a .well-known direction)
