What would be nice in nostt clients:
A long note is shortened and has a 'show full' or something to show the whole post (most clients do this), but it would also be nice to have a sticky button at the bottom of that post (sticky meaning it'll always be visible on screen as you scroll) that's a 'shorten post'.
Why? Because sometimes posts are too long and I've scrolled for too long =/
#nostr #nostrdesign
XD
Read a couple. I'ma let it cook for a bit before reading through a bunch of it and giggle a bit x3
Would be nice if the ditto client slightly adjusted the design of the feed/timeline part to highlight it better (bg-white at 5% opacity, the top bit at 10%).
Just my opinion/preference.

Maybe x3
But some of the ones I've come across are just stubborn and gets stuck with one idea in their head and refuse to change their perception, even if presented with evidence showcasing the opposite. Kind of like flat earthers x3
It's always amusing/entertaining to see people accuse you of being something, because you said/did a joke, as they don't comprehend that it's a joke or sarcasm, and think that you actually believe in the thing you joked about, even after presenting direct counter thoughts/beliefs, with receipts, showcasing that their assumption is the farthest from the truth.
Always entertaining to see how dense people behave x3
Example:
Me: "Look at me! *pretend eating bugs. Anyway, I recorded a video of myself squashing bugs in a funny way. Wanna see?"
Other: "You're a bug-loving eater!"
Me: "??? x3"
Step 1 - Install nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 from their GitHub release page.
Step 2 - Install Amber from Zapstore and import your nsec to Amber from wherever you currently have it stored.
Step 3 - Log into Zapstore with Amber and set up Nostr Wallet Connect if you have a compatible wallet, so you can zap the devs.
Step 4 - Install Amethyst from Zapstore and log into it with Amber.
Step 5 - Install Pokey from Zapstore and log into it with Amber.
Step 6 - Install Citrine relay from Zapstore and add it as a local relay in Amethyst's settings. You can also download all your existing notes to it to back them up if you want.
Congratulations! You now have a powerhouse of a setup for most of your Nostr needs. Explore Zapstore to find more goodies from there. It has more than just Nostr apps, and you can even install Obtainium from Zapstore, too. Though... There are very few apps I have in Obtainium that I couldn't just get from Zapstore instead.
Phase 2:
Get a de-googled phone with all of these pre installed once possible/available 🤘
For reference (and thinking writing this is cute):

(DD/MM/YY)
Where a mod, that was being actively censored/suppressed around that time, obtained censorship resistance.
Not sure what to call that day. It can be as simple as 'Liberation Day' (in line with the slogan), signifying the start of modders being free from being under the control, authority, and oppression of anyone.
I'd watch this tho x3
Nice. I like Chatchi / was hoping it continues to improve. Prefer not to use Telegram x3
I do hope emulators give GR1 and 2 the PC love it deserves (like how Bloodborne is getting it)
Maintenance Sunday 2 PM PST from the looks of it. Hopefully it goes back up soon x3
I made a post about chocolate and bananas and that's the one that's spreading the most apparently x3
This also should be added to #bitcoin wallets as well (preventive companies from knowing your seed words), or any type of app that has sensitive data.
Considering what's happening with tech today, I think #nostr clients, that have E2EE DMs, should have a quick popup note (with a 'don't show this to me again' checkbox) informing users that:
"While Direct Messages are encrypted, be aware that your mobile or PC manufacturer may already be spying on your screen by taking screenshots, recording your screen, and/or logging your keyboard presses, capturing what you're about to send before it gets encrypted. This renders encrypted messaging meaningless unless you take appropriate measures to ensure you are not being monitored."
I'll have that on my client (hopefully I remember) when the DM system gets implemented (hopefully I remember to do that x3).
Is that one really that popular? Watched half of the first season and kind of got bored and left it.
Aye. I need to checkout/play that, and Girls Frontline 2, as well as Brown Dust 2
