drastically ungovernable taxes disrespector, ANCAP LIBER*

hey no, not agree: fun, sats or building your freedom and love your relatives without paying a single $ in taxes.

If its not that, stop now.

idk, I dont like the idea to delegate to relays this kind of functions (in general I'd keep nostr client<---->relays, avoiding relays<---->relays).

not agree, they are the third parties in that case, ipleak should be technically addressed, not mitigated by social protection. No serius dev would based any choice on the fact that someone is doing something without consent.

so a random guy and red spooky hat says theres an RCE super duper dangerous. Idk, we will see when it will be disclosed.

thats how most people in the world learn english

who damn knows that, I tried to read the (frankly so clean, kudos) code that manage short-channel-id in lightning-kmp, it never reference to an "alias" and seems to be constructed encoding the funding-tx-id (as bolt-7 prescribe). But I frankly cant tell if then theres a sort of aliasing and a fake channel-id is used in other functions.

I have a channel in my phoenix wallet and the channel-id is in a strange form 0x563738x1 (random numbers here) and it seems an alias, it doesnt refer to the block-height and tx-index of the funding-tx (and maybe the 0 at the first byte could indicate a signalin of "I'm using an alias" but I dont find this in the bolts).

Please who knows how lightning works whats happening here 😫

was super skeptic from day zero, too much talks and bullshitness.

If something is really good you want openly show it, not talk about how good it will be when at some point you will show it.

Also open protocols can exists only if developer accept them in its infancy and work on it, decentralize decisions in early days.

The "I'm cooking in secret open protocol for everyone" narrative is a scam.

ok I mostly understand how lightning works now I can effectively trace people payments fro USA governemnt, thanks for all informations byeeeee😘😘😘

Does phoenix use scid alias? I also asked it in their github

https://github.com/ACINQ/phoenix/issues/631

I dont understand, exists someone so dumb to implement POW in js interpreter or is it still jit compiled!?

ok, another iteration of me trying to understand how damn works lightning network:

As I uderstood, in today implementation a reference to the funding tx is encoded in channel-id AND also is short channel id (SCID).

SCID is included in bolt11 invoices and it leaks the funding tx of the channel receiving.

SCID alias is a solution, useful for anannounched channels, to protect the information about the funding tx when been payd on lightning with bolt11 invoice.

So an alias is used instead of the actual SCID and the loss of privacy is limited (only risks of payments-correlations on loghtning graph, not utxos leaked onchain).

phoenix instead doesnt implement SCID alias, but I found an issue in the main library it is based on where theres a reference to an "hacky way to alias SCID".

https://github.com/ACINQ/lightning-kmp/issues/408

Does someone knows better if receiving bolt11 with phoenix leaks infos about the funding tx?

Also, as I understood, the node-id (included also in bolt11 invoices) doesnt leaks any infos about funding txs and onchain utxos. Its true, I understood correctly?

Thaks a lot!
