You can get it for $20 and the range will be few miles. Also it uses AES256-CTR for encrypting channels. Much more reliable.

BLE is insecure and has a limited range of 10 meters. It is not being used on bitchat, as most users prefer geohash-based nostr relays, which may compromise privacy by exposing location data and needs internet lol 🤷♂️
