So last night when I was getting dinner after work I ran into this IT guy we started talking and he basically offered to get me an interview. Only a few issues after looking at the company.

Most of their positions need secret clearance and even though I'm not a felon I'm to involved with weed (growing, smoking, whatever.) to EVER get secret clearance. I'm also not even sure its something I want. Secondly I've already had a job where I delt with the DoD and NCIS and I really fucking hated it. I don't like the US government and don't want to support it as it currently stands. Especially not the fucking military

But part of my brain would really like to have a kush ass job that pays well and lets me travel. I think most people would like that. Im still gonna email the guy but I think Im going to be very open about how I feel because id hate to let the opportunity pass if they still want to work with me but I guess as I get older im less and less willing to compromise my morals and the way I live my life just for a job.

anyways. just venting/ thinking and typing out loud. I think in the end Id rather make what I consider an honest living by not supporting a corrupt government system. Id rather use my skill to support plebs and local business where I can.

Modifying Samourai wallet software txtenna, pony, and json format for posting btc transactions sent via mesh and/or sms with notification of receipt and 1st confirmation done via starlink. Could be useful for vendors in disaster areas or with shit internet but not everyone wants to set up starlink. Or for me when I'm in an area with no cell connectivity. A couple dead zones for me around here.

Currently I've reviewed the code (will probably change most of it). I've also tested range and expected number of nodes required for my use (about 6 stations or so). Alsi designing solar powered repeaters and gateway stations to place on properties the family and I own in this town.

Not sure if it's worth the trouble considering I have starlink but it's a nice project to keep me busy in retirement.
