Nation state fomo will be a beautiful thing to watch unfold

Interesting. Would the FED not bow to pressure from increasing public sentiment + Trump administration? They have to maintain face as well in all this

Amazing work! 😍

GM nostr! My prize winning shot from this year's OptiKA Photography competition. Hope you like it 👋

My entry, "Dune Rising" and the accompanying text to explain my selection to fit the theme "What inspires you" is below;

"The desert, with its vast, unyielding sands, offers a solitude that mirrors the quiet of the night sky. In 'Dune Rising', I sought to capture the intersection of these two worlds—the earth’s raw, rugged beauty meeting the moon’s soft glow. This moment, where the moon rises above the undulating dunes, inspires me to explore the contrasts and harmonies that exist in nature. It is a reminder that even in the starkest landscapes, there is a connection to something greater, something that inspires wonder and reflection"

I feel you. I have the same struggles with my photography - I've been winning awards and every art show I get I get people coming up to me and saying how one of my pieces was their favourite, even won a people's choice award at a big show recently, but can't seem to translate that in to sales. I don't spend much time marketing myself and have never been good at it. I just hope my work continues to speak to people and they enjoy it and hopefully with time it grows.

If you figure out any secrets, let me know 😂

Thank you!

This was on the Corroboree billabong just past the Adelaide river. I went with a wildlife guide who took me in what was basically a 4.5m tinny. After the tour he told me a story that about 25 years ago the rangers had to track down and shoot a big croc after it had tipped over 4 or 5 tinnys with fishermen in it. So glad he told me that after the tour and not during 😂

They look great! Do you wrap yours? Still trying to figure out the perfect method

Totally surreal experience having a 6m croc following us in a boat just over half that size. I never appreciated before that moment just how massive they can get, and just how fast they can move.

The north of Australia is such a beautiful, but wild, part of the world.

Thank you. This feels so much better than all the other platforms already!
