Consent is king. Chaos is self-regulating. Authority of any man over another is necessarily a fiction.

Fidelity bonds to enforce vibe checks might be an interesting innovation to see in some forums. Kick someone's ass through the screen via taking a tiny amount of money from their wallet if they are, at moderator's discretion or through some other consensus mechanism in the community, really being an asshole. This would put a price on engagement (the opportunity cost of the use of a few sats for a few minutes) and would put a large penalty on acting in bad faith on a regular basis (loss of the sats repeatedly).

I don't know how body composition of chickens is affected by different feed compositions. It's not something I've researched. It is possible that if a chicken is fed a high linoleic acid diet its whole life, then its fat composition has a rather elevated linoleic acid composition, sufficient to reduce the rate at which some humans with particularly aggressive metabolic dysfunction can eliminate linoleic acid from our bodies to a suboptimal rate vs eating, say, grass fed beef.

Soy and refined soybean oil are wayyyy different in concentrations of linoleic acid, as well as in the stability of the fatty acids and the presence of degraded byproducts. Unrefined soy is plenty healthy for most people. Soybean oil is pure cancer and metabolic dysfunction.

Sounds about right! I don't much care about distribution being anywhere near equal, because true wealth is subjective, but it's gonna be awesome how Bitcoin protects property rights and allows people something of a level playing field.

We have to work, people have to work. We don't have a massive abundance of capital ready to allocate and the information to know how to put it to use to the level that would allow virtually everyone to check out and let the world run on robots... yet. But bitcoin is making productivity increase and allowing some of us to retire or pursue higher endeavors which will increase the income of others, who can then attain more monetary value to then themselves be able to do the same. Economic mobility and the ability to save such a hard asset is truly a beautiful thing, and it will be sustainable.

I feel like a complete moron with tech sometimes. I think that's a good sign that I'm teaching myself new things.

They're correct. They just don't always apply the same principle to themselves.

Ah I see, I can forward a port to a funnel URL! This would work with my current host, and I also have a fallback stratum URL option on their settings. Awesome. I'm worried I'll cock it up, though. Seems a tad involved and my home router is an asshole to me to begin with, I foresee a lot of weird shit messing up. I've never been good with TCP/IP infrastructure and all the technical shit surrounding it. I'm principally a Linux systems and app logic guy, not a network guy.

Oh damn this is cool! I'll see if I can figure out a setup with this. Gonna probably need a mining host that gives me more power user options though. Thanks!
