Thanks for the response. I do not have that enabled. And as of right now, I'm seeing green dots again, but i still can't load my profile. I can see everyone else's content and profiles, but I can't view my own. Visiting my npub from Snort or Iris works fine, but Primal simply won't load my profile for my npub. Every other profile I try loads just fine except for mine. I've tried on multiple devices and I've cleared all of my settings and restored my account, but the behavior is the same. I can change my settings, edit my profile, etc but I can't actually view it. I'm connected to 10 relays and my content is viewable through any other client other than Primal's website. This feels intentional, like Primal has "blocked" me.

Now when I check my settings, all of my relays have a red dot instead of a green dot, so none of them are connecting. They connect fine from snort.social but not from Primal. Anyone have experience with this? Surely the primal client can't block me from connecting to other relays because they don't like my profile? Why won't #Primal connect to my #Nostr relays? I'm on Primal right now in the web browser on a different laptop using this npub and Primal loads fine. On my other computer this npub also works fine but my other one doesn't. When I use the other npub no relays connect, no content loads, and I can't visit my profile. Is Damus blocking use of their client when they don't like content? Do relays tell other relays that they've blocked you? I'm very confused! #asknostr

Hello Nostr! I have a question. I have another Nostr account / npub and I am able to view that profile via Damus, Snort, etc but I can't view it on Primal. I'm logged into Primal as that account, can see all of my settings, can see my avatar, but if I click on my profile it goes to the correct URL but just loads forever, never shows anything. Does anyone know if Primal "blocks" certain profiles from being viewed? Like... do they decide they want to restrict something and then when people visit that URL, it will just never load? I know most of this stuff is supposed to be client side, but it feels like when I visit my own URL I'm being purposefully denied. I have tried from private windows, fresh sessions, and multiple devices. What gives? I can view my content on any other client except Primal. #AskNostr #primal #damus #bitcoin #btc #lightning

I still have this experience in person on occasion, but it definitely happens more on the internet now (for me, at least).

One of the things I really enjoy about interacting with people is that you can start off on the wrong foot with someone by having a negative interaction and then later on develop that relationship into something positive and respectful. I've had so many interactions where someone rubbed me the wrong way or vice-versa, but we later address the issue and have what, oddly, feels like a stronger trust and better mutual understanding since we've already overcome a conflict together. I love that about people. #nostr #bitcoin #btc #zap #lightning #people #life

Oh, ok, thanks nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch! So that's not working correctly just yet or are you saying I should be able to do that now? Also, am I able to put in my existing pub key somewhere so my .well-known/nostr.json?name= entry shows the hex of my existing Nostr npub that I use here on Primal and Damus? I would like to use coinos as my nip-05 verification provider if I can put my same key that I'm using here as the entry. I'm excited about what you guys are building!

Also, nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch when I go to the settings area there's a Nostr integrations area that has an npub and nsec. So that's obviously different than my nsec and npub I'm using here on Primal / Damus. Below that is an "Import secret key" option. I tried using that and pasting the nsec I'm using here, but it says:

"Something went wrong

Method Not Allowed"

Am I supposed to import the nsec / npub I use here on Primal / Damus or is this a separate thing? I have nip-05 for the npub I'm using here, but I see that my RiddleStyx@coinos.io also has a .well-known/nostr.json?name=RiddleStyx that shows the hex of the npub currently showing in the Nostr integrations area.

I'm just a little confused about what I'm supposed to be using / doing here. The "Support" link just goes to a contact form and the "Documentation" link shows API documentation but doesn't explain how things work.

Any help? Thanks!

Clearly. I jumped the gun out of impatience; I just really wanted to try out their offering!

Indeed, I spoke too soon! They resolved my issue and contacted me with a detailed answer. I am now going to finally try it out! Thanks for the suggestion nostr:npub1h50pnxqw9jg7dhr906fvy4mze2yzawf895jhnc3p7qmljdugm6gsrurqev and thanks for helping me out nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch

Hello, Nostr! I'm new here and really enjoying the learning experience, but I do have a question. How would you explain to a completely non-technical person how to easily download or set up a lightning wallet so that they can receive zaps? I want them to be able to receive payments 24/7 and transfer the funds to a BTC wallet whenever they want (what I believe is called an "on-chain" wallet). Could someone explain how to do this simply? I understand there are custodial and non-custodial wallets. As long as it's trustworthy, I don't mind using a custodial wallet. I just want something simple and straightforward. Thanks so much! #bitcoin #lightning #nostr #zap #btc #damus #primal
