◾ The death toll from Israel’s genocide in Gaza is more than 10,518, including 4,412 children and 2,761 women.
◾ An average of six children and five women are killed every hour; meaning 144 children and 120 women are killed every day by Israeli attacks. Meanwhile, hospitals in Gaza receive one wounded person every minute and 15 bodies every hour.
◾ UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has renewed his calls for a ceasefire, calling Gaza “a graveyard for children” as the death toll from Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza surpassed 10,000 people, with almost half being children.
◾ The Israeli army told the administration of the Rantisi Specialised Hospital for Children to evacuate, an indication that it would be bombed.
◾The heavy bombing of Gaza City has continued as the Israeli occupation forces prepare to take over the city. Fifty percent of housing units in Gaza have been damaged because of, the attacks, leaving nowhere for those in Gaza City to shelter. Almost 70 percent of Gaza’s population is displaced.
◾ The journalist Muhammad Abu Hasira was killed along with at least 42 of his family members after Israel bombed their homes in Gaza City.
◾ At least two people have been killed and 12 wounded in Israeli overnight raids across the occupied West Bank, with fighting reported on the outskirts of the Jenin refugee camp. At least 164 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7, including at least four prisoners who died in Israeli custody. More than 2,200 have been detained.
◾ Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a batch of drones on various sensitive Israeli targets in the occupied territories, while militias in Iraq and Syria have carried out attacks against US forces in the region this morning; the number of attacks on US forces in Iraq and Syria increased over the weekend from 30 to 38.
◾ South Africa is the latest country to recall its ambassador to Israel, raising the number to nine.
