Never quite understood why complex maths is removed from high school in CA. I find so much value in day to day practice from what i learnt back in my highschool. Every advancement of math be it engineering math or business/economic stats has its roots. I have seen so many people struggle because they don't understand the basics of complex equation. If it is about protectionism ie 'to make people feel better about themselves hence removing the education syllabus' - then its incredibly dangerous for future society.
