The R6 is a great camera! It was a nice way to step up from my DSLRs a few years ago.
I don't think it would be my first choice now, but it has a lot of great features that make it a worthy buy.

I learned about these little links a few years ago from Peter McKinnon. Camera strap links! Yay!
The biggest issue I always found shooting just about everything was always having my strap attached to the camera. It's harder to store the camera with a strap attached, it gets in the way and if you don't have multiple straps it can be a pain in the ass to swap straps from one camera to another but these fix that problem!
I have a strap that belonged to my late father so I like to use that one on shorter shoots. Once I threw a set of these on it, simplicity walked with me. I just swapped my strap from one camera to the other. Nothing to it. Plus the little links that attach to the camera are super small and the pack comes with four of them. You can either do two cameras with one set or keep an extra set of them off to the side for a future second body.
I highly recommend any beginner pick a set of these up. I have a set on every camera I have and I keep an extra box in my desk.
They're about $35 CAD and $25 USD. Not much for the value you get from them.

listen to this interview with the silent link admin and learn about why you shouldn't make non e2ee calls and texts whenever possible.
tl;dr your carrier tracks your precise location (even without a sim, can use device triangulation) ties the kyc info with your device imei number, has access to the content of your calls and texts and can drop in at will into your ongoing calls for content and voice fingerprinting etc. you should treat these kinds of legacy calls and texts as open information.

That's probably better than my suggestion. I was thinking something like the Crypto.com app help if you're at all familiar with that. Gives you Prompts that you can then specify further until you reach a person. Smooth for a help function I thought.
