Can you imagine what it was like to buy Bitcoin for 1 dollar?
No? Neither can I.
I was totally focused on other things and too clueless at the time to understand why Bitcoin would later become valuable.
But now, I can take advantage of NOSTR before it gains widespread recognition and usage.
So that when the time comes, I can benefit from all the value that will manifest on NOSTR.
And yes, I’ll definitely show this message as proof that I was onto something and smart enough to act on it this time. Also, to show that nobody cared back then, haha (with zero likes as evidence, of course 🤣👏🏼🤣)

Yes. We all need to stay humble & as open minded as possible.
It’s going to stay hard for a while since it’s an inner journey as well. Being right “with Bitcoin” doesn’t make you a better person perse, being true Bitcoiner does..😉🙏🏼
I now follow you.
Ps.
You could say that NOSTR has the potential to surpass even Bitcoin if “decentralized communication” ultimately enables global free speech and unrestricted access to information for everyone.
As an early adopter, I might “benefit” by building a following now and capturing the “attention” that’s likely to surge as this platform grows.
Does that sound right?
What are your thoughts?
How long before your (potential) clients are on NOSTR?
How long before people start discussing other topics besides Bitcoin/decentralization tech?
That will likely attract the masses a bit more. I’m really curious to see if NOSTR will follow the same adoption curve as Bitcoin in that regard.
We’re incredibly early.
My wife and I both want to work out every day.
And we manage to do it.
Despite having two young children, it being summer vacation, never sending them away, and both running our own businesses.
What’s your excuse?
🔥👏🏼🔥
Any Dutchies on this platform who might be interested in my new podcast..?
A market update about last week and the reason why this eventually leads to Bitcoin going to 1 M (at least)
The reasons why people often lack the confidence to literally build a business around their passion are twofold:
1. They’ve been told a BS story their whole lives that it’s not possible and that work should actually feel like “work”.
2. They lack the perseverance and trust that things will get better as long as success is still absent.
Having a low time preference, Bitcoin & the right kind of people surrounding you will definitely help 🙏🏼
Had a more than amazing weekend with my family and other relatives.
Now just relaxing on the couch for a bit, and ready for a great week full of value creation related to Bitcoin.
Let’s do this 🔥
I see a lot of people who want to ‘live in freedom’ being very dependent on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc (myself partially included). But at the same time, I also see them being dependent on their crappy job or running a business they don’t feel much passion for.
I find both just as foolish, if not hypocritical. However, I do understand it.
The point being: it all stems from fear. The fear that you won’t make it without them.

What are the privacy implications of spending btc via ecash like Cashu?
Im early in my exploration but have extensive experience as a routing node operator.
Id imagine that in this scenario you are only as strong as your weakest link, which in this case is lightning. For example, spending of ecash across mints requires liquidity on lightning, and is only as private as we can assume lightning, limited by publicly created channel liquidity and potential man in the middle attacks whereby a well connected routing node may also function to surveil the network flows.
Can I assume the closest we get to perfect privacy with Cashu is when spending WITHIN the mint, where our anonymity set is infinite among other network users, and equal to the pool of participants using the mint, when viewed from the mint operator's perspective?
If these discussions are occurring or have occurred elsewhere Id appreciate any info.

The first period is always somewhat easy when it comes to a “habit change.”
The real challenge lies in sticking with it (the discipline part).
For now, I’m simply sticking with NOSTR. It was the same when it came to our world trip and setting up a location-independent business so that you can be “free” forever.
In the beginning, both my wife and I were incredibly enthusiastic about traveling full-time with our kids and diving right into figuring out how to make money on the go. But after a year of traveling and relatively little to show for it (working hard and a lot for little), it really comes down to discipline and, yes, your vision, so you are constantly reminded of why you’re doing it.
Now, four years later, we’ve made it. And it only seems to get easier.
I suspect the same will be true for my presence on NOSTR. 🙏🏼

Yes! I myself am not too “techy” as well.
What is it that you particularly find interesting of the things I mentioned.
Just curious 😁🙏🏼
