1) why is that good ?

2) what are the chances they lose the sats ?

3) what are the privacy garantees?

4) Is there any restrictions to spending I should know about ?

5) how does that compare to e-cash like e-nuts ?

I have a ton of questions

Look, as a nostr user, I'm just going to offer a post-mortem opinion.

I like the people involved, but I never understood why it was a good product. Not saying it wasn't, I'm saying comms were not clear enough as to the benefits.

Blame the immigrants is a massive strawman from the left.

The immigrants just want a better place to live, that's understandable.

Complaining about immigration policy is the real gripe of the right. The left just deflects by calling it racism.

There's a massive difference between the authorized level of immigration in the USA and the actual level. Border enforcement is in shambles.

🤔🤔

I need yo say it.

Grilling will give you cancer.

That fat hitting the coals and sizzling turns into carcenirogens and is then coating your meat which in turn you eat.

Legit plenty of uncles that LOVED grilling have had stomach cancer at a young age.

Cut that bad habit if you wanna see your grandchildren.

You've been warned. Also lose some weight before you're diabetic too.

Yes, but not for losing weight.

You can't out-exercise a bad diet.

it's nice to preach to the choir here, but in reality that is a very poor sales pitch considering the risks involved.

in fact new people (with low information) will act (rationally from their perspective) and loto-ticket a lump sum.

The DCA stuff is for long-term convicted savings. A new person will not follow that advice, neither should they. They can't differentiate well BTC from ETH from penny stocks. You could give the same pitch for any asset and it would be, in most cases, very dumb to commit long term cash-flows to it.

Fwiw

eh.... they just confirmed what we already knew.

For extrajudicial actions to be taken, one must be above the law.

I don't think you can direct the military and be judged by standard criminal law.

If the socialists had their way, you'd get face ID at the gate.

why fire protection.

I think I'm more a minarhist because I believe, and I'm pretty sure I'm right, that without use of military and police, the neighboring organizations will use violence successfully to annex volontarists.

For voluntarism to thrive, one needs to be able to provide indispensible goods to neighborhood AND have enough of a dissasive threat of violence to discourage annexation. AND have a way to have other people behave in civil society that is not police.

So basically, without practical solutions to hose problems, the only viable ideal is minarchism.

Even then, the policing needs to be quite extensive with regulations to keep the peace and not poison rivers or have a bunch of accidents.

and after that people argue for auto-updating nodes....
