Bitcoin worship, as you put it, is a noticeable problem don't get me wrong. But I would say that it isn't the biggest problem. That would go to the idea that it's how nostr works conceptually and how difficult for the average non-tech person to wrap their head around. Granted the bitcoin worship does poison the will quite a bit, but I think it would still be an issue without the poisoned well.
I think a lot of that comes down to the "shiny new object effect" and that nostr has general user retention issues.
I know there was a large group that came from bluesky after some kind of controversy. Though I have no clue what the controversy even was to begin with.
Notice what? Body posters? I don't pay attention to global all that much, but I do notice it every now and again when I DO venture into global.
In the end it's obviously not my place to tell you what to do. But do be mindful of the type of people you might attract if you do go that route.
Do I know how all gamers thing? Most likely not. Do I know how some lonely gamers think? YEP!
When it comes to the crime rate, I do honestly wonder how under reported that stat actually is.
In the long run, one of Nostr's most prominent issues will be simplifying key management enough for the non-technical end user to not be overwhelmed. I don't know if it's possible for clients to have NIP-07 built-in outright or if that requires formulating an entirely new NIP.
Any plans for a Firefox version? If not, any alternatives for Firefox?
We gamers do think different. Though ones life circumstances can factor into that too.
I have no idea. I assume they're out there somewhere.
As far as coracle goes I'm fairly sure if you click the login button, not advanced login, it defaults to using whatever NIP-07 extension you have. As far as all the blacklist pop-ups from avast goes, that could be for any number of reasons. Keep in mind most of those are most likely from self-hosted relays and avast NEVER says WHY it's been blacklisted, only that it has been.
To coracle asking from camera perms, you most likely hit the button NEXT to the login button which, from my best educated guess, is used for scanning QR codes.
Less than 5mins after logging in and I got prompted again
Maybe to say "hi, I'm here, what's crackin"

I think that's just avast throwing false positives.
For the longest time I've had a very weird thought in the back of my mind. There are probably married couples out there that have been together for decades and have never had sex. And there are other couples that have reached the same milestone that have never even seen their partner nude. And I just can't seem to wrap my head around that.
I understand that that might be more common than I think. It's just that idea of seeing someone to whom you're deeply and romantically bound to nude, and to want to have sex with them, comes across as... I don't know... natural. Even regardless of religious or moral beliefs.
Maybe it's because I've been single my entire adult life. I don't know. #random
