I don’t know if making sure myself and undoubtedly millions of other Americans never get another vaccine was the goal but if it was he succeeded.

Don’t tell anyone but I’m 35 years old and still can’t tie my shoes the way everyone else does. I was having trouble with it and my dad taught me a different way. I still do it that way. I have trouble with ties to. At basic I made sure to be in front and have my tie used as a demonstration tie for how to tie the knot when we got our dress uniforms. That knot stayed in my tie for the next 6 years. Well it’s probably still in it wherever the tie is.

These days. I shudder to think what 21 year old me would have said/done if my battalion was mobilized for martial law and the right justifications were provided.

Maybe it’s because I was partially raised by my grandparents who were raised by people who lived through reconstruction but the idea of martial law under any circumstances has always bothered me.

I need to get into ham. I’m just rocking some vintage 1950-70s field phones and a couple miles of commo wire at the moment.

Used waygu tallow the last time I made burgers. Best burgers I ever made. Of course this was also hamburger meat from the half a cow we bought from my sister’s next door neighbor. He runs half a dozen head. Might have been that as well.

No bet. It’s always the fault of the non believers of course. It couldn’t possibly be that the faithful believed in the wrong god.

I’m not sure how I made it out of my teens if he is correct. Spent a lot of time during summer break setting property corners in subdivisions being built while it was that hot. By setting property corners I mean using a hammer to put pieces of #5 rebar in the ground. I’ll grant it was work for 10 minutes take a break for 10 minutes but I was still out in that heat for 10 hours. When I wasn’t doing that I was in the woods or a swamp somewhere cutting line with a bush axe.

All of that was preferable to being on lake parcel doing a boundary at 8am in December catching an off shore breeze when it’s already in the low 30s.

My old man is still rocking his granddaddy’s meat grinder. Maybe I’ll upgrade him.

You might not benefit from the thing with Ukraine and Russia. Probably don’t but the system that enables the government to have the wherewithal to place itself in that situation? We all do. Some more and for longer than others of course.

It’s different when the government does it. Or something like that.

Sweet. I’m getting things together to build a house in the next 18 months. Definitely wanting a generator when I move in.

Three cheers for getting paid to sit around because the power went out last night and they still don’t have all the equipment back running.

Awesome. I’ve saved a mess of tires today. Doing my part for God and Company.

I need to watch this. I’ll do it tonight after work while I’m eating the pork chops I cooked yesterday to eat all weekend.

The elective I chose was full so they put me in Home Ec. There were only two other guys in the class though.

Got to looking through my stuff and sure enough, still got the recipe book I made for the class and thats been 20 years ago.

Cool. People like to laugh at me when I say this but Home Ec was probably the most useful class I took in high school.
