I’d say the opposite is true. My blue check destroyed engagement. Then I had my account suspended for two days without reason. Now I can’t get rid of my blue check even though I’m not paying for it. When you run a business on Twitter and rely on organic reach thru damn good content, and this happens, it’s game over. We used to get 1M views overnight. Now we’re lucky if we get 10k views on anything. Elon bought the titanic specifically so he could run it into an iceberg. Twitter can get fucked. Is nostr the answer for people like me? I damn well hope so.
