Disagree. Onboarding is super simple already, the network effects are what’s hard to replicate. Tribe by tribe. Bitcoiners here, but we are a very clicquey nerd club.. need to diversify and make relevant to other tribes.
Can’t be that bad for Nostr. I got in from iris, they generate keys for you, so you can go use the platform straight away, but UX there is horrible, it didn’t display any of my posts. Then I got primal, “post” button didn’t work there. And now I’m writing this from Damus lol. Is there a single directory of apps and ways a non developer person can get in? That can point out biggest issues with each app etc. Can’t be that hard to make.

We're still early, best way to publish concrete issues for each client, if not on GitHub would be to write a note for each note and then tag the client and developer imo. If you don't want to do it public DM them ✌️
Scaling seems to be the biggest issue to me. Fundamentally, bitcoin is obviously elegant and beyond promising. Everything built on the top though, including LN - I am not so sure. However, I am somewhat naively optimistic about LN too.

I told some friends and family about how the font resize feature was developed today. I think people are pretty impressed by that sort of community/transparency/spontaneity. I think little stories like that will help people understand the power of nostr.

Elon is doing a great job in advertising Nostr. I only used Nostr briefly when it came out but now I'm here all the time.
It's undeniable that losing the "Twitter" name really did something for me. It's just does not feel the same any more to me personally.
Anyway I'm glad to be here in the early melting pot, the experience is amazing! Zaps plus Nostr couldn't be a better combo!

You need a better interface, man. As a non techy, Damus is confusing. X (Twitter) == Mac OS, Damus == Linux. I offer this as constructive criticism, since I think we need this platform. But in its present form its appeal is limited.
