It was really nice to listen to you all. Very informative. Very constructive. The best ideas and decisions are always the ones that come from consultation and dialogue.

🤩💜🫂☀️

Looking forward to seeing you! We’ll go for 🍕 at la Boîte à Pain and take a walk along the St Charles river. Then stop for a 🍺

This the actual sleeping lady mountain. Nevertheless the fake one is a beautiful artwork.

I don’t know much about NIPs and the NIP system in #nostr. But I have the feeling that there is something wrong with it and that it needs to be fixed.

A protocol is a protocol. If the NIPs are twisted and bent by clients, and still honored by relays then the protocol is no longer *the* protocol. At that time everything starts being dysfunctional. And people leave no?

Do I have a good understanding?

Swat team of developers, product manager, UI designer, fontend and backend guys and gals, scrum master all in a house in Panama. All inclusive, salary in sats, nobody gets out until it’s done!

I love it when you sit in a café, come across a meme like this that makes you giggle and then someone sitting across gets distracted by your shoulders going up and down wondering WTF is going on 😆

Mount Gros Morne, Gros Morne National Park, Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland, Canada - June 2019. With the Tablelands plateau in the background. Good memory. Great two-days hike!

Phoenix is very simple. But with the so little knowledge I have, I did not think it was a node in itself like Blixt is. I thought Phoenix connects to ACINQ´s infrastructure for a split second as a payment pass-through and that they also do some liquidity management for us (I don’t know what I’m talking about). Anyhow it’s a very simple to use solution, it has onchain -> offchain swap service, it works really well and it’s a good feeling to know that your coins are your coins.

Blixt is a full blown node with lots of settings to manage channels, network and lnd settings, lsp support. I don’t use it much because I don’t understand the LN network well enough. I have two channels open on it and I use them to experiment and try to better understand LN. It’s cool to know that you have a full LN node in your pocket.

So much to learn all the time. I think I am interested in too many things at the same time 😅🤯
