I mean declare *in your income tax declaration*
I have a question for Canadian nostriches, especially those who live in Quebec. Is there a legal obligation to declare any of the following:
1. the purchase of bitcoins?
2. the purchase of goods with bitcoins?
3. the sale of bitcoins?
Thanks!
For me this is really when I set the relays in the Nostore safari extension, the same as in my Damus client, that I stopped having the problem.
This Falljökull, a southern tongue of the monstrous ice cap glacier Vatnajökull in the middle of Iceland.
This was taken in December 2018. It’s about 2:00PM and the sun is almost touching the horizon! At that time of year, the sun rises around 9:30AM and stays all day at that level until 2:30 or 3:00PM. That’s quite a feeling!
It takes a while to get to the glacier. There are landmarks along the way to show where the glacier was over time at regular intervals. It’s a sad feeling to see that the landmarks are farther apart as you move closer to the tongue of the glacier. Nevertheless when we were there, a big piece detached above us in a frightening cracking noise increasing our hearts rate, but luckily it was far enough! It was our first time on a glacier, with hundreds of meters of ice under our feet.
I love my iPhone featured photo widget. It brings back beautiful memories everyday.

Had the same problem when using nip-07 extension on mobile browser or trying other native clients apps.
If your nip-07 extension allows you to set relays (such as nostore) then it might be the reason. 🤷♂️
Try to explicitly configure your extension or other clients with the same relay config.
Moving slow. We’re not handy by nature but we’re proud of each little accomplishment🥵. At least it’s a good test on our relationship my girlfriend and I : we still together hahaha😆
Oh nice! I so want to do those one day! Especially the ones with mountains and canyons!
The van
- finish the ceiling
- garage door
- lighting
- office desk area

This is la vallée des hautes gorges de la rivière Malbaie, in the Charlevoix Region, Quebec, Canada. Taken in 2018. It’s a 4-6 hours hike that is very steep at the beginning, one of the most challenging in the area. We notice similarities with mountains found in Newfoundland and even Iceland as they have been eroded by monster glaciers during the ice age and their top is flat. This always fascinated me to witness the strength of nature!
gm my lovely lively nostriches 🫂💜🤙☕️
#hiking #nature #outdoors
This is ont the top of the tablelands in Newfoundland, Canada. We did a 8 hours hike navigating with a compass and a map. Not that we really needed it because it was clear and we had other mountains to figure out where we were. But it was fun to navigate without any electronic device. This plant is a Silene Acaulis, aka moss campion or cushion pin. I tell you, it wants to live because conditions up here are rough and the soil is toxic, not much grows there. It really makes an encounter with it a special moment to enjoy.

« Local » is Ville de Québec and Montréal 😅🤙
I see #nostr being talked about in two local recurrent #bitcoin meetups here. But no dedicated nostr meetups yet here. Not sure if nostr will be on every agenda but I will find out.
I feel the same as some people who responded here: 84 bitcoins!!! Crazy!!! That’s lot of money! Imagine how fast funds could be raised to help relay operators, clients developers if we could have an organized funding mechanism for them! There could be more full timers!
So am I calculating this correctly? : 84 bitcoins is an average of 18000 sats per user? Or 14000 sats per zap.
It would be nice to have a stat about how many of the 475 000 users have a lightning address or LNURL in their profile.
I love #nostr. This is really a new world unfolding under our eyes.
What time?
