This is super interesting because I've seen it in real life. I had to work 36 hours per week when I came into Bitcoin. I now work 24 and my lifestyle hasn't really changed much. I could keep doing 36 and putting it into Bitcoin, but I surpassed my goals and chose to spend time elsewhere. It's quite beautiful. That 12 hours went toward keeping my retirement from melting to zero. I had to keep adding to it just to keep the value about the same over time. Fuck that.

Back to the grind today. I had a lovely time off. Got some projects completed, finished off the wine for the year. Had my sister out for a quick visit. Don’t actually mind going back as I feel more myself. Wonder how long before work sucks the life out of me, lol

Normally, when I bring wares home from the studio, I wrap them gently and place them carefully in a box or bag so nothing hard is touching them in the car. But I put this travel mug in the cup holder as proof of concept. Not only did it fit perfectly, but the lid didn’t even rattle at all except when I hit a pothole and a speed bump.

I honestly had a really hard time stopping myself staring at it yesterday. It came out absolutely perfect. Now, I’m inspired to make more salmon scenes!

Salmon are amazing travelers, migrating hundreds of miles across radically different environments, from river headwaters to salty ocean and back.
