I love Open Source and how most relevant projects in nostr are indeed open source.
Right now I'm tapping into #[0] great and often cited resources at https://github.com/aljazceru/awesome-nostr and https://www.nostr.net/ to give them a face-lift and kick-start a similar directory at nostr.info which I had not given much love recently. Stay tuned!
Open source only works well if many many people are contributing. If open source and only limited contributors, a closed-source profiteer will just steal your ideas and code and publish something before you finish. Once a project has many contributors, however, then the open source project is moving faster and stays ahead of the closed source.
Attention has tremendous value. Many bitcoiners on twitter are not interested in bitcoin, they are there to stack Attention thru follows/likes/etc. Once they get enough attention, they get approached and given $$$ to shill stuff.
