Not half, but 21/24 is normal now. Is it always the same half?
On the one hand, #[2]‘s profile describes him as an anarchist and a libertarian. On the other, it also describes him as a nationalist. This issue definitely reveals a tension between those two sides. Would you agree, LP?

Nostr is more resistant to censorship than the Web 2 alternatives. That’s why it was invented, isn’t it?
Your account is really your private key. Under Settings, you can delete the account on your phone, and then add an account using the secret key you have on your laptop. It will also help if you add the same relays that you added on your laptop.
I did a little searching. The science on this appears to be weak. Study sizes are small and results are inconsistent.
The US government has lost wars despite having overwhelming advantages in firepower, in Vietnam and in Afghanistan (after the French and the Soviets lost, respectively.) Just because an armed citizenry can’t beat the government in a set piece battle doesn’t mean they can’t win a war.
When an outsider (or unconventional insider) challenges the #experts in a field that you have no expertise in, how should you react? Defer to the experts? Judge for yourself? Philosopher #MichaelHuemer offers some heuristics.

Well, that and a way to pay for subscriptions to image hosts. Void.cat has per-file paywalls, but I don’t see a way for someone to pay for the right to *upload* images.
For those who aren’t willing to run their own servers, I think the missing piece is the ability to migrate a user’s images from one void.cat (or Picsur) host to another.
Yes, it does. But in my opinion, the size of government spending is a bigger problem than the size of government debt. (Regulation imposes additional costs.)
Oh wow, that letter is a threat. Give away your wealth or there will be violence.
I think there may actually be room in the world for both #Bluesky and #Nostr. Some people seem to enjoy blocking others, and Nostr can’t satisfy their urge to punish wrongthink. nostr:note1pgt4zcywyer38cywth49uvkeufpsfr6drdysu65q203wdal8zdhs7mk4qz
It would be awesome if clients supported the PicSur API and allowed you to enter a custom URL for the host. PicSur is stupid simple to set up in Docker, strips EXIF, etc.
I host most of my own images on one: https://picsur.thesamecat.io
The API is documented here: https://www.postman.com/caramel-team/workspace/picsur/collection/1841871-78e559b6-4f39-4092-87c3-92fa29547d03
I didn’t know Picsur existed, but I think it’s a good idea.
Aha, there are two types of links under “Your SimpleX contact address”: one time and reusable. This is my reusable contact address:
The invitation link appears to be limited to one use.
