Printers today are one of the most fiat things imaginable. They’ve been around for years and yet it still takes 45 minutes to get the connection right and print a document. Not to mention they blackmail you into only using their ink cartridges.
If any devs want to create an open source printer that actually works, the world will thank you 🙏
Why do people talk about “blackrock buying bitcoin”? Isn’t most of that demand just people who would buy bitcoin anyway now buying the ETF? It’s the same demand just showing up in a different way. Am I missing something?

I love how in the space of 5 minutes, she argues that crypto is both too private and not private enough. Not the own that she thinks it is.
If #Bitcoin is rat poison, who are the rats?

Or to separate Normies from their freedom.
Can someone keep us updated on the Bitcoin reserve. I tried going on X but the noise is unbearable.
Would love to see your thoughts on this. Everyone in the comments (and Dave Ramsey) is so dismissive of the guy asking the question.
It seems to me that banks lending out demand deposits at interest could be considered usury (They are charging interest for lending out money that isn’t theirs). Is fractional reserve banking immoral?
As a pleb, it doesn’t sound that groundbreaking to me and feels a bit deceptive.
Lots of carriers now allow you to lock your sim from transfers, and many logins allow you to use an authenticator app rather than phone number.
The largest benefit would be if they could maintain privacy, but from the info on their website, it doesn’t seem much better than any other carrier. Even if they don’t collect and store private data, they are no doubt using one of the big wireless carriers network which still has the ability to track every device connected to it.
I could be very wrong one either of these points, if so someone please correct me, but as I see it this is just an overpriced cell service with slightly higher sim swap protection.
The Creature From Jekyll Island should be required reading for anyone completing the equivalent of a high school degree. If everyone knew the history of central banks, they would be abolished tomorrow and never allowed to return.
Might it bean issue with the wallet reserving too high of a fee? I know I’ve had the issue with Cashu.me. It won’t let me send a 3 sat payment even though I have a direct channel to the mint.
I wish this was reality today. Unfortunately my employer is a corporation so it will probably be a while.
Unless we vote Jesus into the presidency, there will always be something about the candidate to disagree with. He’s closer to our side than anyone else that’s running.
I’ve subconsciously started reverse judging people with new cars because I understand that most of them are financed.
Why on earth do people keep trusting Coinbase when their circuit breakers go off on every Bitcoin pump?
For those who are single or dating. If you think marriage statistics like high divorce rates means you shouldn’t get married, you don’t understand the data.
The majority of people are doing it wrong and have bad results as a consequence of their approach/choices. Being in a happy marriage is one of the greatest blessings in life, it only gets better with age, and no one makes it by accident. Find role models, and do what they do. It’s not rocket science but it isn’t easy either.
Be intentional. Put in the effort. Reap the rewards.

If the Normie heater cost more then it’s a no brainer. Happy mining ⛏️
There’s a powerful lesson here about human psychology

I ran the numbers a while back and it would at best break even, my other scenario is buying a cheaper regular space heater and saving the rest in BTC. With the current mining landscape you probably wouldn’t end up with any extra bitcoin. But it could be a fun learning opportunity, and contribute towards the decentralization of mining.
